Participants, or their representatives, who behave in a manner which is disruptive to the learning process, or which interferes with the well-being of other participants or staff, may be subject to permanent removal of enrolled course(s).

RULES FOR ONLINE YOUTH PARTICIPANTS AND CAMPERS
a. I will not, under any circumstances, be disrespectful to guest speakers, counselors, or anyone associated with the program or camp.
b. I understand I am expected to dress appropriately while participating on camera. (i.e. pajamas or swimwear is not permitted at any time)

c. I understand an online summer program should be treated the same as an in-person program. I will be aware of strong language, all caps, and exclamation points. I will be respectful of the instructor and other participants in the program. I will not be disruptive to the instruction, and I will log in on time and be ready to participate. I will ensure I am in a quiet room with a clean backdrop and free of offensive and inappropriate material.

d. I understand I am expected to refrain from excessive electronic usage of my personal devices (i.e. cell phones, tablets, etc.).
e. I understand that I CANNOT record mine or other participant’s likeness, voice and surrounding background on any medium including but not limited to video, audio, photographic, digital, electronic, or any other medium of the program, course, or activity.
f. There is a zero-tolerance for bullying. I understand that engaging in cyberbullying will result in being immediately removal from the program, course or activity.
g. I understand that there is a zero-tolerance for alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, and tobacco products. Any violations of this rule will result in immediate removal from the program or camp.
h. I understand that all written communication MUST be done in-group messages ONLY. I CANNOT privately message the instructor(s).
i. I understand I CANNOT communicate virtually one-on-one with other participants during the program.
j. I understand if any of the regulations in the Participant Agreement are not followed, my parent(s)/guardian(s) will be notified, and I will be subject to immediate dismissal from program or camp.
k. I understand that if I am dismissed, my parent(s)/guardian(s) will be notified and will not receive a refund for the program.
l. Parent(s): I understand that though my child will have online supervision while participating in programming, it is his/her responsibility to conduct him/herself appropriately as a young adult and abide by all program rules and regulations at all times. Participants under 12 years of age must have appropriate in-home supervision while participating in youth programs and camps.
m. Parent(s): I understand it is my responsibility to notify the Professional and Public Programs if my child will not participate in daily program activities due to illness or other planned activities. No partial refunds will be given for time missed. (email: ppp@utep.edu)
