Application for National Science Foundation (NSF) sponsored student travel grant (up to $2500) to attend IFIP NETWORKING 2024 conference. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Applications received after May 9, 2024 may not be reviewed.
Please fill in this online application and then email (with subject: "NETWORKING2024 Travel Grant") the following three documents in PDF format to networking2024@utep.edu:
1. your curriculum vitae, PDF file named "firstname_lastname_cv.pdf"
2. a reference letter from your graduate advisor, PDF file named "firstname_lastname_reference.pdf"
3. an itemized estimate of your travel expenses to attend NETWORKING 2024, PDF file named "firstname_lastname_expenses.pdf"
The reference letter from your advisor should address the following:
(i) Confirmation that the student is a graduate student in good academic standing.
(ii) The suitability of the NETWORKING 2024 program material to the student’s research area.
(iii) How this particular student would benefit from attendance at the conference.
(iv) The strengths and potential contributions of the student.
(v) The advisor’s commitment to covering the student’s travel cost in excess of the $2500 travel grant.
